Introduction

Revealer Stereo PIV(2D3C) is an extension of the planar 2D PIV (2D2C) system, which consists of two cameras, lasers, synchronization controllers, and high-frequency particle image velocimetry software, and supports the calculation of the velocity component Z perpendicular to the measurement plane or the velocity component "out of the measurement plane".

Claims

1.High precision stereo calibration：Stereo calibration of the Stereo PIV system is accomplished through three steps: calibration identification, calibration function creation, and calibration function correction；

2.High definition imaging：The angular arrangement of the camera sensor plane, lens plane and measurement plane compound Scheimpflug's law to ensure clear images over the entire image field；

3.Accurate 3D reconstruction：An optimized generalization method based on the projection function is used to reconstruct the 3D velocity field on the measurement plane.
