Introduction

Revealer Stereo PIV(2D3C) is an extension of the planar 2D PIV (2D2C) system, which consists of two cameras, lasers, synchronization controllers, and high-frequency particle image velocimetry software, and supports the calculation of the velocity component Z perpendicular to the measurement plane or the velocity component "out of the measurement plane".


Claims

1.High precision stereo calibration:Stereo calibration of the Stereo PIV system is accomplished through three steps: calibration identification, calibration function creation, and calibration function correction;

2.High definition imaging:The angular arrangement of the camera sensor plane, lens plane and measurement plane compound Scheimpflug's law to ensure clear images over the entire image field;

3.Accurate 3D reconstruction:An optimized generalization method based on the projection function is used to reconstruct the 3D velocity field on the measurement plane.
