Introduction

The planar 2D PIV (2D2C) particle image velocimetry system consists of a single high-speed camera, laser, synchronization controller, and high-frequency particle image velocimetry software, which supports the calculation of 2D velocity field information in the measurement plane.

Claims

1.Image pre-processing function：Support filtering background non-particle images and particle images of relatively poor quality by background rejection method, image enhancement method and image filtering method to reduce image noise.

2.Automatic calculation of flow rate：Support automatic calculation of mean flow velocity, turbulence intensity, Reynolds stress, skewness coefficient and kurtosis coefficient.

3.Presentation of kinematic parameters：In addition to the conventional flow vector field, the two-dimensional distribution of kinematic parameters such as vorticity, rotational intensity, Q-criteria variables and structured vorticity is supported in the form of color cloud maps.
